Junk Barn Girls Sale

Our sale with Junk Salvation in Walla Walla got cancelled so Sandra and I jumped in on this sale the minute we heard about it. It was a first time event for these two nice girls and they put on a really great event. We were happy to be a part of it and plan on attending next year.

Our booth was in a good location. We had plenty of room. It was a beautiful day and the sale was on a big, lovely farm.

I found out it was a little too early for shoppers to be thinking about Thanksgiving. Good to know for future fall sales.

Another view of the booth.

PENDLETON

My kind of town! I love Pendleton, OR. I may be partial having been born there. My parents all graduated from high school there. Many hours, days and years were spent at Grandpa Lee's house and just down the road at Grandpa and Nana Littig's house. Oh we had some big adventures as little kids playing at both places. Memories galore.
I also love Round-up time (this week). I usually try to take in part of the whole experience. The concert is always nice. Happy Canyon is good to revisit every few years. I haven't been to a parade for years. As kids we were in the parade all decked out in our pioneer finery. " Don't pick up the pennies, they are for the Indian children!" During the parade spectators would throw pennies in the road. It was hard passing them over. Every kid wants money.
I need to reconnect with my home town and be more involved next year. I won't even make it over the hill this time around.....moving day has finally arrived.

Birthday Boy

Wyatt and his parents have been here for a week and this visit was all about building up for the Big First Birthday. He turned one on 9-10-11. He had a very big day. Family photos before the party then a yummy potluck dinner. Grandpa smoked some delicious pork in the Treager. This is the first time Wyatt had cake so we had a special one made just for him to enjoy. His first year has just gone by so quickly. He's already growing up too fast. Love you Little Man.
